Archery: Two Silver Medals for Canada at the World Archery Youth Championship!

18 archers represented Canada from October 2 to 8, 2017 at the World Archery Youth Championship in Rosario, Argentina. Nine archers competed in junior categories and nine in cadet categories, participating in both the individual and team events.

The 2017 Youth Canadian Team posted its best results ever for a Youth World Championship.

In the team events, Tristan Moran, Cole Beres and Jordan Adachi made it to the Junior Compound Gold Medal match, where they lost a tough fight to the team from Mexico, ultimately finishing with a Silver medal.

In the women’s compound cadet category, Alexandra Paquette also returns to Canada with a silver medal after defeating archers from the Czech Republic, Switzerland, Great Britain and Iran before losing to Great Britain.
