Erreà recreated Parma's Coppa UEFA 1999 Jersey

Dec 15, 2020

The 1998-99 season is inevitably in the memory of every Parma fan thanks to the winning of two of the most important European trophies, UEFA Cup and the Italian Cup. Erreà, current technical sponsor of the club, recreated the historic uniform that accompanied them.

The Parma that defeated Marseille 3-0 in Moscow was a battleship, made up of amazing players such as Gianluigi Buffon, Fabio Cannavaro, Hernán Crespo, Lilian Thuram, Juan Sebastián Verón, Dino Baggio, Enrico Chiesa, Stefano Fiore and many others. Parma were in fact one of the strongest teams of the 90s.

The version made by Erreà is the same as Lotto's original, but with some small variations. Obviously the technical sponsor changes and the main sponsor Parmalat is eliminated, just as the collar has been slightly reduced. Under the club badge, the wording “LEGENDS” has been added to underline the celebratory nature of the shirt. Inside the collar are the silhouettes of the eight trophies won in the club's history, such as the three Italian Cups, one Italian Super Cup, one Cup Winners' Cup, two UEFA Cups and one UEFA Super Cup.
