In keeping with its traditional colours the first kit has a white background and the characteristic transfer printed zebra marking in the top right and along the sleeve.

The shirt has coordinated black inserts positioned down the sides and inside the v-neck collar. The club logo appears on the top left of the shirt, on the opposing side to Erreà's, and it is adorned with the colours of the Italian flag, which also appear inside the collar to pay homage to the team’s nationality.

Just as it was for last season, Erreà's stylised logo appears in a dotted pattern, in the centre of the shirt. The raised dots assist with the catching of the ball during different phases of play. The ‘ruck’ fabric, used in the manufacture of these shirts, is very resistant and technical, and has been designed to withstand the toughest clashes during matches and training.

The new kits will first take to the pitch in the Guinness Pro12 season week that gets under way on September 2, 2016. As occurred last season, Zebre Rugby will begin this fifth Celtic season with two consecutive away games in Wales, firstly against the Ospreys in Swansea, and the following weekend against the Dragons in Newport.

The home début for the ‘North West Fifteen’ in front of its home crowd, at the Lanfranchi Stadium, will be for the team's third game, on Saturday 17 September, when the Irish team Connacht, first-time winners against Leinster in the Guinness Pro12 final, will arrive in Parma, Italy.
